Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends if necessary.
