Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our sales team and leverage our existing customer base and territory to drive growth. The ideal candidate will cultivate new client relationships within our established market, maintain existing accounts, and effectively communicate the value proposition of 1st Choice Door and Millwork within the construction industry. Prior experience in sales, particularly within the door, trim, and custom millwork sector, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships: Build rapport with existing clients and proactively seek new business opportunities within the construction market (e.g., builders, contractors, architects).
- Conduct sales calls and presentations: Effectively present product offerings, pricing, and project timelines to potential and existing clients.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals: Gather project specifications, calculate costs, and prepare competitive proposals that meet customer needs and company profitability targets.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals: Effectively negotiate terms and conditions to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Track sales activity and prepare reports: Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management.
- Stay informed about industry trends: Keep abreast of new products, technologies, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide excellent customer service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience in Outside sales of successful sales experience within the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in the door, trim, or millwork sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills. Relationship-building skills: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Self-motivation and drive: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet sales targets. High school diploma or equivalent required.Preferred Qualifications:**
