Our motel is undergoing an exciting renovation, and we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Housekeeper to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and taking on a variety of tasks, including routine housekeeping, deep cleaning, and assisting with renovation-related projects.
Job Description:
As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guests rooms. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness, including regular housekeeping tasks, deep cleaning, and supporting post-renovation cleanup efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets, wiping down walls and baseboards, and moving furniture as needed.
- Assist in cleaning and preparing rooms after reconstruction repairs and painting.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and reorder as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and meet guest satisfaction standards.
- Follow strict procedures regarding missed work, sick days, and tardiness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas that need improvement.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks such as moving furniture.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules with mandatory work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Clean, drug-free workplace – we require individuals who do not engage in drug use.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Schedule:
- Flexible schedule.
