As a Project Director with 1st Choice , you will lead critical evaluation projects for a federal healthcare agency, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. This role requires subject matter expertise in federal healthcare programs and clinical best practices.
Work Location : Remote
Key Responsibilities :
- Track project progress and ensure collaboration between team members and client representatives.
- Assign tasks to specific clinicians based on project needs and monitor alignment with established goals.
- Provide clinical subject matter expertise, including understanding of Medicare and Medicaid requirements, including coverage standards.
- Ensure all team activities comply with data privacy and security regulations, including HIPAA and FISMA standards for handling sensitive information.
- Develop medical record review instruments and assist in designing evaluation protocols.
- Collaborate with federal staff on project deliverables, including written and verbal communication products.
- Utilize project-specific tools like Microsoft Access, Excel, and Medical Review Tracker (MRT) for effective tracking and reporting.
Qualifications :
Clinical expertise in areas such as clinical coding and understanding coverage requirements.
This position requires the successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, which may include criminal history checks, employment verification, drug screening, and fingerprinting, as required by federal regulations
