Job Details
- Location: Remote (Must reside in the Tri-State Area: NY, NJ, CT)
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
- Languages Needed:

- Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Some Saturday work required
- Planned Time Off: No planned time off allowed within the first 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to educate clients about Medicaid and public health programs.
- Assist clients with enrollment and disenrollment processes, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Respond to enrollment services calls, provide accurate information, and refer callers as needed.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the New York Medicaid CHOICE Project and program policies to provide informed guidance.
- Perform data entry, quality reviews, and submit daily reports to maintain accurate client records.
- Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders and program participants.
- Process enrollment/disenrollment forms and review them for accuracy and completeness.
- Raise issues of concern or problems to the attention of supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, outreach, or community engagement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, or Bengali (must be able to read, write, and speak fluently).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A team player who thrives both collaboratively and independently.
Technical Requirements for Remote Work
- Computer: Candidates must use their own computer with:
- Minimum internet speeds: 25 Mbps download (single user), 50 Mbps download (shared), and 5 Mbps upload (10 Mbps preferred).
- A wired internet connection (mobile hotspots are not allowed).
- MAC laptops and Chromebooks are not permitted.
- Headsets: USB wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression is required (Bluetooth headsets are not allowed).
