Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other grounds are kept in pristine condition. The Groundskeeper will work closely with other team members to uphold the standards of our facilities while promoting a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping projects, ensuring proper operation and safety protocols.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the beauty of gardens and flower beds.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed, monitoring water usage to promote sustainability.
- Clear debris from pathways, parking lots, and outdoor areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as directed.
- Maintain equipment used in groundskeeping, performing routine inspections and basic repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to develop seasonal plans for landscape enhancement.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
- Some painting knowledge
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
