Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatchers/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring smooth operations within our fleet management and transportation planning processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills and have a background in heavy truck management, as well as familiarity with transportation management systems and windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records in our systems.
• Coordinate with fleet management to ensure timely dispatching of vehicles and resources.
• Assist in transportation planning by analyzing freight requirements and optimizing routes.
• Utilize software for effective communication and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service and dispatching field is preferred.
• Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is essential.
• Knowledge of fleet management, supply chain logistics, and transportation planning is advantageous.
• Experience with transportation management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
