Rollback Driver/Operator

Job Overview

Duties

• Operate a rollback to haul vehicles and/or equipment to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS and maps to optimize delivery times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including bills of lading, payments and receipts.

Skills

• Experience with route driving, ensuring efficient navigation through various terrains.
• Skilled in load unloading techniques for safe handling of cargo.
• Familiarity with rollback operations and securing loads properly.
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day

• Rollback: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Health Card - CDL is a plus. (Preferred)

• Glasgow, KY 42141 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Glasgow, KY 42141: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
