Experience working for a professional Landscape/Mowing company is required. Experience operating commercial mowers (stand on or sit down zero turn) is required. You must be in good physical shape and have a strong work ethic. A positive and encouraging attitude is required. You must be willing to take direction from the Crew Lead, perform quality complete work unsupervised, and pass direction to team members when needed.

Schedule:

• Strive to create a fair Work/Life balance
• 4-Day work-week, Monday through Thursday when possible (working Fridays may be required during the busy seasons Spring/Fall as scheduling permits or when weather delays our schedule). Mon & Tues we perform landscaping projects related to the season (Spring Clean up/Mulching, Trimming shrubs, Aeration, Fall Clean ups), Wed & Thurs Mowing routes, Fri - pending season (project/weather delay make up/DAY OFF)
• 7:30 - 4:30 is the daily goal (ending time will vary pending season, scheduling, and weather) (start time can be set by team but close to 7:30 is target)
• Projects (Spring Clean up/Mulching, Installs of trees/small plants) will start mid-late March and Mowing in combination with Landscape projects early April.

Responsibilities:

• Reliability: Arrive to shop prior to daily start time prepared for the work day. Includes having clean provided uniform, proper footwear (waterproof recommended), water or liquid hydration, packed lunch/snacks (recommended as team can stay on clock during on route lunch break to make more money and get home earlier)
• As a Crew Assistant you will be expected to “wear multiple hats”. This includes being able to take direction from the Crew Lead, working independently to produce quality finished work, having the experience and confidence to be able to anticipate the next task to keep work flowing and also times when leading may be needed when working in the field alongside your team.
• Teamwork: Support Crew lead and treat fellow team members with respect and professionalism.
• Effective and Open Communication: with owner, Crew Lead, team, and customers
• Ability to Operate Company Trucks and Trailers (Clean driving record required) you will be required to have this skill in situations where the Crew Lead is unable to drive or needs time off.
• Help with Final Checks at Customers Property: We strive to differentiate by providing repeatable quality service that meets or exceeds customers and company expectations.
• Using Yardbooks digital platform on company assigned iPad: Manage daily operations, route logistics, property specific details.
• Daily Set Up and Closing tasks - Load and check provided lists that all items are on trucks for daily work. Unload and lock up company equipment and shop at end of day.
