Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and support as it relates to the Online Banking and Deposit Operations business lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform various job responsibilities related to deposits and electronic banking.
- Interact with branch offices, departments, and customers relative to areas of concern involving Bank deposit products.
- Ensure Branch requests are correctly processed according to department standards, policies, and procedures across multiple branches.
- Provide exceptional customer service for all deposit services including Online and Mobile Banking.
- Customer account research including statement and image fulfillment.
- Review check exception processing for behavioral discrepancies.
- Provide support for Internet Banking services including, but not limited to, new customer setup, ACH origination files, wire transfer files, stop payment requests, item correction requests, statement reprint requests, Remote Deposit install and end user training
- Become an online banking subject matter expert to facilitate exceptional customer service for all inquiry types including internal and external support.
- Responsible for responding to online banking customer inquiries via telephone, email, and support dashboard.
- Provide general support for consumer use of peer-to-peer payments.
- Troubleshoots and problem solve end user and system issues
- Support for customer debit card/ATM operational issues.
- Perform daily card maintenance including PIN resets, limit increases, travel restrictions.
- Perform daily mobile banking maintenance including increasing deposit limits and reviewing mobile deposits.
- Assist with testing and communicating new or enhanced feature functionality.
- Be able to assist and provide backup to the responsibilities of Deposit Operations functions, including but not limited to, Wire Transfer Origination, ACH Origination, adjustments, returns, account maintenance and verification.
- Assist with conducting accurate and timely reconcilements of various deposit accounts and processing related to general ledger accounts.
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, scanning and filing.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of management, staff, and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in core banking applications.
- Knowledge of electronic banking operations, operating procedures, and functions.
- Working knowledge of banking regulatory requirements and their application to electronic banking procedures.
- Strong computer skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills required.
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional customer service in all forms of interaction.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgment and make and act upon decisions with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years’ Bank operations experience
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma, or the equivalent required.

The employee must have the ability to always stay alert and attentive and operate a computer, phone and essential equipment as required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
