1st Fed Insurance Services is an independent insurance agency offering a wide range of insurance products for individuals and businesses. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication and analytical skills for our Insurance Agent opening at our future Mattoon location.
This position requires insurance licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willingness to earn licensing with training and support.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Communicate with customers and determine their personalized insurance needs.
· Use knowledge of insurance products and carriers to effectively underwrite policies.
· Answer customer questions and provide advice.
· Process customer premium payments.
· Assist with the overall operation of the office.
Required Qualifications:
· High school education
· Customer service experience
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
· Some college
· Insurance experience
