Job Summary
The Office Assistant to the Operations Manager provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role involves handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and assisting with project coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager, including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry.
- Maintain organized records, files, and reports related to operational activities.
- Assist with coordinating projects, tracking deadlines, and following up on action items.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Support operational processes and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
