Manufacturing Manager – Extrusion
Location : Nashville, TN
Full-Time | Operations | Reports to Plant Manager

The role includes :
Leadership Opportunity – Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff.
Innovation & Collaboration – Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and R&D.
Operational Impact – Play a critical role in optimizing production, reducing waste, and ensuring lean manufacturing principles.
Growth & Development – Be involved in training programs to develop a skilled and educated workforce.
Strategic Role – Act as a key liaison between operations, maintenance, and plant management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive safety-first culture and operational efficiency across the plant.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure production goals align with company objectives.
- Manage staffing, training, and development to maintain a high-performing team.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure equipment reliability.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles , reducing waste and optimizing efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to meet product and service expectations.
- Serve as acting Plant Manager in the absence of the Site Director .
What We're Looking For :
Education : Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Chemical or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Experience : 7-10 years in manufacturing, preferably in plastics extrusion, with supervisory and project management experience.
Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Environment : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting requiring hands-on oversight.
