A custom commercial playground company in the Orlando area is looking for an Estimator to join their team. The Estimator is the hub for all on-going playground construction projects. The position works with all business units and clients to successfully design, order, coordinate, install, and build each project. This is an office position and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Remote applications will be accepted.
Experience with construction permitting is required.
Reporting to the Project Manager/Sales Manager, typical duties include:
- Coordinate schedules among Sales Reps, Installers, GC, and Manufacturers.
- Evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that everything required to successfully bid the project is understood and evaluated.
- Prepare proposal packages in coordination with vendors/installers and customers.
- Track the project workflow from Sales Rep to Project Manager and to Sales Administrator.
- Seek the opportunity to make improvements
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills Required:
- Microsoft Excel
- Manage up to 15 projects at a time
- Scheduling of materials and personnel
- Well-organized & detail-oriented
- Bluebeam and Procore experience preferred
