Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring optimal performance, and leading a team to achieve company goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of management practices. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory control, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving performance.

Responsibilities:

A. Document signing: The supervisor will be responsible for the signing of all necessary documents on-site for both workers (general laborers) and clients, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.

B. Equipment Management: The supervisor will manage the purchase, maintenance, and organization of all equipment required for work operations, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and appropriately allocated.

C. Cash collection: The Supervisor will be responsible for collecting cash payments on behalf of the Company for services rendered. The Supervisor will provide receipts and ensure proper handling of all payments.

D. Advertising: The Supervisor will actively advertise and promote the Company's services to nearby residences and storefront establishments near the current work site, using appropriate marketing strategies to generate business.

E. Correspondence: The Supervisor will correspond directly with clients and workers ( general laborers), ensuring effective communication.

F. Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Set realistic goals, milestones, and deadlines for project deliverables.
  • Estimate resources, costs, and timeframes required for project completion.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication to all stakeholders regarding project progress, issues, and changes.
  • Organize and lead regular project meetings, including status updates and reviews.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Create and manage project budgets.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and ensure proper use of assets, personnel, and equipment.
  • Monitor and control expenses to prevent overruns.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and document potential project risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate or manage risks.
  • Monitor risk levels throughout the project lifecycle and adjust strategies as needed.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of project activities to ensure quality compliance.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Documentation

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of project-related communications, decisions, and changes.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and upper management.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track the project's progress against goals and timelines.
  • Create and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and issues.
  • Adjust project timelines and resources as necessary to stay on track.

Change Management

  • Manage any changes to the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assess the impact of changes on budget, timeline, and resources.
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure proper documentation.

Post-Project Evaluation

  • Lead project post-mortem meetings to evaluate what went well and what could be improved.
  • Analyze project outcomes against initial objectives and success criteria.
  • Document lessons learned for future project improvement.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure that the project complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate governance standards and project management frameworks (e.g., PMI, Agile).

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Understand client requirements and expectations, ensuring these are incorporated into the project.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive relations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Implement improvements in project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills.

Experience

  • Proven experience in management or supervisory roles is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and management.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for pricing, buying, and selling products.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing operations.
