Description
The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing compelling visual communications across various platforms to support our apartment communities and commercial properties in the 1st Lake Properties portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of branding, design principles, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into impactful visual assets.
Qualifications
Graphic Designer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating engaging, original designs to meet specific promotional needs for print and digital, including but not limited advertisements, brochures, business cards, website imagery, signage, flyers and other collateral.
- Developing and maintaining consistent brand identities across all platforms, ensuring alignment with company values and audiences.
- Optimizing visual assets for various formats while preserving visual integrity and file size.
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team, key stakeholders and team members to understand project requirements and deliver designs on time and within budget.
- Communicating with printing companies, order all print material and keep track of orders.
- Capturing and editing high-quality photographs for various events.
- Contributing to the development of marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Attending after-hours events and be available for real time posting/engagement
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements to be successful in the Graphic Design role:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Graphic Design or related field.
- Excellent communications time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and brand guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of color theory and how to effectively use color palettes, combinations and contrast to evoke emotion, convey messages and create visual hierarchy in designs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
- A portfolio of professional design work that demonstrates strong skills, experience, creativity, and originality.
