Position Description
As one of 1st Phorm’s Graphic Designers, you will have the opportunity to work cross-departmentally to assess business needs and create design solutions for marketing supplements, food & beverages (energy drinks, protein bars, meat sticks), apparel, fitness app, and more! If you can stay highly organized, communicate clearly, produce quality content, take constructive criticism, and hold a high standard for yourself and those around you...you can thrive here!
Skills Needed
- Capability to oversee the entire design process from concept to execution for all projects, including digital and print materials.
- Exceptional skills in layout design, illustration, typography, color, print production, and more.
- Apparel Design : Strong illustrative and typography skills to create apparel artwork that is primarily used for t-shirts, hoodies, and hats.
- Packaging : Understanding and ability to execute print production - labels, cartons, film, cans, and in-store displays.
- Fluent in brand, marketing, and design principles and best practices.
- Refine images, fonts, and layouts using existing brand guidelines.
- Highly competent in Adobe Creative Suite – specifically, but not limited to, Photoshop and Illustrator. Motion graphics is a plus!
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Own assigned design projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to give and implement constructive criticism.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to coordinate cross-departmentally.
- Stay current with design trends and translate inspiration into on-brand collateral.
- Competitive mindset and will to win.
- Effectively communicate the organization’s message and values.
- A strong portfolio showcasing design work.
