Position Summary:
The Client Specialist is the primary liaison between clients and the company, ensuring a seamless, supportive, and positive experience throughout the client's journey. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate, client-centered approach. The Client Specialist plays a critical role in onboarding new clients, managing client relationships, and ensuring that services align with each client’s specific needs and expectations. Additionally, the Client Specialist actively participates in community outreach events to promote awareness, build relationships, and support the agency's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients, providing prompt, professional, and courteous support.
- Conduct intake assessments and collect relevant client information to create accurate care or service plans.
- Coordinate service setup, caregiver matching, and scheduling in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
- Act as a liaison between clients, caregivers, and administrative staff to ensure client satisfaction and continuity of care.
- Conduct routine client check-ins and satisfaction surveys to assess service quality and address concerns proactively.
- Resolve client issues or complaints with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Monitor changes in client needs and work with appropriate departments to make necessary service adjustments.
- Maintain regular communication with family members, POAs, and other authorized representatives.
- Support administrative and billing tasks related to client care as needed.
- Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives as directed.
- Represent the company at community outreach events, health fairs, workshops, and networking functions to educate the public and promote services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and local organizations.
- Assist in planning and executing community engagement efforts, including volunteer events and public presentations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in client services, healthcare, case management, or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling and CRM systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of nonmedical homecare or healthcare services.
- Experience in community outreach, marketing, or public speaking.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other language) a plus.
Work Environment:
- This position may be office-based with occasional local travel to client homes, hospitals, events, or community settings.
- May require flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Must be willing to be a emergency caregiver. A emergency caregiver is being able to work last minute shifts if we can't find a replacement as needed. ( On a temporary basis).
We need someone who is dependable and honest. Must be a team player and willing to do what’s needed to get the job done. Must be readily available at any time if needed.

1st Priority Homecare is a local owned company. We provide 24/7 In-Home services to the elderly and disabled.

This hours for this position is somewhat flexible. Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm ideally however, Part-time hours are also available. (Occasional weekends and On-call rotation.)
