We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care and maintenance, with the ability to provide expert advice on tree health and safety. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the well-being of trees in various environments. The Arborist will also engage in customer interactions, providing product demonstrations and promoting our services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of trees to determine health, safety, and maintenance needs.
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding tree care, pest management, and disease control.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate clients on tree care products and services.
- Engage in retail sales activities, promoting our range of arboricultural products to customers.
- Manage customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Utilize technical sales skills to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Participate in outside sales efforts, including cold calling potential clients and generating leads for new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to improve service offerings and sales strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Arborist or in a similar role within the landscaping or horticulture industry.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, diseases, pests, and proper care techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in direct sales or territory sales is preferred; familiarity with lead generation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
- Certification as an Arborist (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist) is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
