POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides clerical assistance to Loan Servicing Representatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Process Consumer Loan and Mortgage Loan payments
  • Organize and distribute the Loan Servicing Mail.
  • Processes checks by phones E-forms and Debit card payment request.
  • Monitors department shared email inbox – including correspondence from both internal and external sources.
  • Review and process return payments for Consumer and Mortgage Loans
  • Provide operational support for retail branch staff.
  • Prints and prepares servicing letters for mailing.
  • Process Wires for Consumer and Consumer Charge off Loans
  • Maintains fax machine, copier and printer and communicates with equipment vendors for servicing.
  • Introduction to balancing and reconciling accounts and general ledgers.
  • Process Consumer and Mortgage Loan maintenance requests.
  • Assist with all general service and operational tasks.
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail in all daily functions and the ability to perform the same daily tasks without losing focus.
  • Assists walk-in visitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience within a financial institution preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required.
  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs.
  • Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • Must be bondable.


COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
