We provide complete foodservice equipment maintenance and repair services for restaurants, QSRs, convenience stores, retailers, coffee shops, and concessions operations, specializing in commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. We are a nationwide company, headquartered in Greenville, SC with local branches located coast to coast.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is the key player in the Accounts Payable department and is responsible for managing the vendor AP aging and vendor relations. The specialist should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both on paper and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with higher levels of management. The specialist should have the ability to know when to enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
Responsibilities :
- Enter subcontractor, parts, and expense invoices into QuickBooks software program.
- Reconcile and balance vendor accounts.
- Prepare checks to be mailed.
- Monitor and manage all vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments.
- Provide management with regular reporting regarding the health of the vendor portfolio.
- Contact vendors when necessary to resolve any statement discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable as needed
- Perform other duties as needed.
