Job Description – Tax Accountant
Job Summary :
The primary purpose of the Tax Accountant is to assist the tax team by performing entry level to
moderately complex tax functions, placing the needs of the client first and providing exceptional service
every single time.
Dues include :
Utilizing research tools to find solutions to client tax issues
Sourcing opportunities to refer clients to the financial services team
Preparing entry level to moderately complex tax returns
Preparing tax work papers, account reconciliations, and maintaining tax-related records
Developing and maintaining knowledge of federal and state income tax laws
Generally works on structured assignments
Training and / or delegating tasks to other support positions
Other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications
Education / Experience :
2 years of experience in similar position
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lacerte, and QuickBooks
CPA (preferred)
