Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Traveling Project Manager to represent our company in the roofing and exterior home upgrade industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and overseeing the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This role requires strong sales acumen, the ability to manage projects, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Traveling Project Manager, you will be responsible for not only generating new business but also maintaining ongoing relationships with clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects. Experience not required, willingness to learn and the ability to be trainable is all we require.
Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead sales efforts by identifying and engaging potential clients, pitching roofing and exterior home upgrade services, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing personalized service and regular follow-ups throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the successful completion of projects by coordinating with internal teams, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing customer expectations.
- Negotiations & Contracts: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage contract agreements to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Travel and Site Visits: Travel to client locations for site assessments, consultations, and project follow-ups to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
- Coordination with Teams: Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth project execution, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project phase.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Project Tracking and Reporting: Regularly track project milestones, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects stay on course and make adjustments as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all projects meet or exceed customer expectations and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in the roofing, exterior home upgrades, or construction industries.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable with traveling and visiting client sites regularly.
- Ability to work independently and manage sales and project responsibilities across various locations.
- Knowledge of roofing systems and exterior home upgrade solutions is a plus.
- Experience with project management tools or software (e.g., ServiceNow or similar) is preferred.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
