Job Summary 

Example: This position serves as a Senior Warfare Analyst at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in King George, VA, capable of participating and leading Fleet exercise planning, participating in exercise execution through data collection efforts, and feeding post-event reconstruction for the purposes of supporting the analysis of warfighting capability objectives. The position will provide warfare analysis, mission integration, M&S support and architecture assessments, acquisition analysis and support, and analytic program support to Fleet exercise and experimentation.  A broad spectrum of support for naval and joint warfighting capability assessments and M&S is required to support and enhance Government and military warfighting analytic efforts that are conducted in support of USFF, USINDOPACOM, and COMPACFLT Fleet exercise objectives.  Additionally, analytic efforts may be assessed relative to joint capability requirements to provide time-phased capabilities within Joint Capability Areas (JCAs) 

Essential Job Functions 

• Operational support to specified exercises, experimentation, and directed technical efforts. 

• Provide subject matter expertise on current and future capabilities. 

• Analyze, manage, and support advanced systems studies. 

• Analyze science and technology capability lifecycles and transition of capability. 

• Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data and information. 

• Develop and analyze exercise/experimentation project status, schedules, and milestones. 

• Draft, review, and organize experimentation initiative development. 

• Coordinate and facilitate exercise meetings and reviews. 

• Prepare briefing materials for leadership. 

• Represent leadership at various meetings and provide feedback and recommendations, as required. 

• Assist in coordinating Naval Fires capability development across NAVSEA/NAVAIR program offices. 

Qualifications 

• 10 years active duty, Strike Group or Fleet Battle Watch, or Fleet Event planner, or Flag aid 

• Bachelor’s Degree, – Work experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement. 

• Top Secret Clearance required. TS/SCI As part of our pre-employment hiring process, background checks are performed on applicants without an active security clearance. 
• Prefer 3 years CSG or Fleet battle watch or Flag aid / Fleet Event Planner
