What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Management Float position at 2 - North Country Healthcare?
Assist NCH Supply Chain Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks of general stocking, receiving goods, inventory, and assumes necessary duties when the Manager is away. Maintains timely and effective communication with assigned staff and customers. Establish the proper handling of requisitions, orders, receipt and storage of stock. Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with customers regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries. Serve as mentor to staff and identifies efforts for recognition. Traveling is required as employee will serve as coverage for fellow Materials Management Staff in times of illness or vacations, at any one of three hospital locations and The NCH Distribution Center. Reports directly to the Supervisor, NCH Supply Chain Operations Manager.
Essential Qualifications: One year of warehouse, stockroom, or related experience preferred. A valid driver's license and a insurable driving record is required in addition to the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist. Must also be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and leadership.
