Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. This role also involves supervising staff and maintaining a safe and postive work environment. The director will be responsible for all necessary paperwork required by the State of MO to meet guidelines for a daycare/preschool. The director will hire staff when needed, report to the daycare board once a month for updates and concerns, communiate effectively with parents about their children and any concerns parent's may have. The director must have education and knowledge of early childhood development from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, inlcuding discipline and behavioral management techniques. The director will be ask to keep within and manage the budget of the daycare as decided by the daycare board. Knnowledge of computers, CACFP billing process, MO state subsidy billing, schduleing staff and knowledge of the state licensing for child care in MO. Must pass background screening and fingerprint process by MO State Highway Patrol.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $19.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
