Daycare Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing team. Your responsibilities will include developing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood learning and development.
• Supervise and interact with children in a safe and caring manner.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized attention to students to support their unique needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• Some knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is preferred but we will work to train in the area of childcare
• Experience in babysitting or caregiving roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus but not required.
