Job Summary:
As an Optometrist Partner – Medical Director, you will play a critical leadership role in Sight Clear’s growth and success. You will be responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of the business, including hiring, training, and managing optometrists, ensuring compliance with medical regulations, and enhancing patient care standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight: Supervise and lead the optometry team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Hiring & Training: Recruit, onboard, and mentor optometrists to build a strong, patient-focused team.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all optometric practices meet industry regulations and company policies.
- Operational Leadership: Work alongside the executive team to improve clinical workflows, enhance service efficiency, and maintain the latest in eye care technology.
- Patient Experience: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration: Work with business partners to align clinical excellence with Sight Clear’s innovative approach to eyewear and vision care.
- Technology & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of advancements in optometry, integrating new tools and techniques to enhance services.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active optometry license in ALABAMA.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience, with leadership or management experience preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of optometric practices, regulations, and industry trends.
- Business-minded approach with an interest in growing and shaping a modern eye care clinic.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
