Plumbing Warehouse Receiver

General Responsibility:

Warehouse workers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming materials, picking and filling orders from inventory locations including accurately picking materials by hand. This includes performing a variety of tasks such as offloading, stocking, selecting, and replenishing products.

Significant Duties:

· Accurately pick products by matching numbers and product descriptions

· Assist with pulling material request orders and will call orders

· Log back orders when job is completed, double check back orders and log orders in progress

· Label all boxes or bags ensuring orders goes to final destination

· Assis with organizing space in the warehouse and keeping isles straight and organized

· Assists with loading and unloading trucks

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment

· Maintain a safe, clean work environment to include general housekeeping warehouse duties

· Recognize discrepancies in material delivered, including quantities and parts

· Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders

· Assist with processing returns and put away return material to locations

· Report low or missing stock material that needs to be ordered

· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins

· Assist with deliveries to jobsites as needed

· May be required to help with deliveries or be assigned to drive company vehicles depending on current company need

· Performs within the values and guidelines of 20/20 and adheres to the 20/20 Policies and Procedures

· Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes

· Other duties or projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years’ of general warehouse experience
• Attention to detail is required
• Ability to complete projects independently or with little supervision
• A background in warehouse including shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory is preferred
• Able to perform daily manual labor that requires handling of heavy items with care

· Safely operate equipment, and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment to include general housekeeping warehouse duties

· Communicate effectively, in oral and written form, with all parties to ensure collaboration

Physical Requirements: The position of Warehouse Worker requires that you are able to lift objects that weight up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, squat and kneel, twist and bend, and work above head and below waist. Job includes walking or standing for periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Preferred)
