Location BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital Title Oncology Program Coordinator Bronson Oncology & Hematology Specialists - Kalamazoo: Full Time 80 Hours Per Pay Period Provides program support to a variety of oncology-programs including tumor board coordination, multidisciplinary clinics scheduling, and research support among others. Works closely with leadership, oncology quality/safety coordinator, nurse navigators, and other oncology staff to coordinate programs that result in successful operational outcomes. Requirements Bachelor's degree Proficiency and previous experience with Epic preferred. 3 years of experience in a Health setting, Oncology preferred Must be able to operate and perform computer programs associated with documentation and record keeping in the department including word-processing, spreadsheets, and healthcare-based systems Must have the ability to multi-task and quickly change priorities, sometimes with no advance notice. Must have ability to interact with verbal and written requests from various levels, including management, co-workers, and providers Must demonstrate leadership and organization skills including the ability to work independently and take initiative. Responsibilities Tumor Board Coordination Create Case Findings and Case List Communicate effectively to Tumor Board participants - send case list, request pathology if needed from other facilities, acquire imaging from other facilities Administer Tumor Boards – prep for tumor board, take attendance, take notes as needed Apply for CME status and handle CME communication Multidisciplinary Clinic Scheduling and Flow Assist with scheduling patients Assist with chart prep for patients Coordinate with other physician practices for any patient needs Research Support Screen eligible patients for research studies Perform data entry for research studies and patients Assist with research patient scheduling Genetic Counseling Program Support Serve as a backup to the Genetic Assistant Process referrals when needed Schedule patients, send packets when needed Oncology Program Support Other duties as assigned Schedule events, education, clinics as needed Shift First Shift Time Type Full time Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Cost Center 8827 Hematology and Medical Oncology (BMH) Agency Use Policy and Agency Submittal Disclaimer Bronson Healthcare Group and its affiliates (“Bronson”) strictly prohibit the acceptance of unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third-party recruiting agencies ("Recruiters") in response to job postings or word of mouth.
