PSYCHOTHERAPY – Duluth Family Medicine Clinic

JOB SUMMARY

Provides therapeutic services and diagnostic services to patients and families. This includes, but is not limited to, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy; mental health intakes and assessments; coordination of treatment services for the patient.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in the primary care setting as a psychotherapist,

• Complete diagnostic assessments
• Provide short-term, evidence-informed psychotherapy interventions
• Provide patient-centered care
• Work in a team with the patient and their primary care provider.
• Work with a small established Behavioral Health team, 1 Psychotherapist and 1 Psychologist
• Monday-Friday, day hours.  The clinic is open 8am-5pm.  This position is a .8-1.0 Flex position.  The day off if working at .8FTE,  will be either Tuesday or Thursday.

Educational Requirements:

Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical counseling, psychology, or other discipline that meets eligibility requirements for licensure in the primary state of practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a medical or behavioral health setting
• Comfort working with all ages
• Familiarity with time-limited therapy interventions
• Experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, substance use disorders, neurodevelopmental differences, pain, and chronic medical conditions
• Familiarity with crisis assessment and triage
• Experience providing care to a diverse and underserved population

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

Licensed to practice psychotherapy in the state in which the position is based.

Minnesota:

· Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW)

· Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

· Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Salary Range for a Essentia Health Credentialed Therapist- $33.31-$49.82
