Building Location: Hermantown Clinic Department: 20220 General Radiology Job Description: This position is responsible for administration of ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities. Operators are limited by the exams they can perform on patients (Exams on small children and babies are not allowed until evaluation of abilities is done by a manager or QA Tech). An operator provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Education Qualifications: Minnesota: Complete Basic Radiographic Operator training & successfully pass the Minnesota Radiology Exam within 3 months of hire North Dakota: Must hold current Limited X-ray Machine Operator (LXMO) licensure through the North Dakota Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDBMIRT) upon hire.
