Description
Overview: We are looking for detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Staff to join the team at our licensed New York State Retail Dispensary. The Inventory Staff will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, assisting with inventory counts, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of products within the warehouse. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of the inventory management team by supporting various tasks and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related activities. Position reports to Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities:

Stock Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock accurately.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient operations.
- Ensure fulfillment staff has ready product supply to fulfill customer orders.
- Role may require operating in fulfillment role on occasion.

Inventory Intake:
- Accept inventory orders from suppliers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal and external order requests.

Inventory Counts:
- Participate in regular physical inventory counts.
- Reconcile discrepancies and report findings to the Inventory Manager.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the system.
- Generate reports as needed for analysis and decision-making.

Communication:
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding inventory needs and updates.
- Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the Inventory Manager.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management or a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and twist
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
