Graphic Production Technician
At 2020 Exhibits, we create custom made exhibits and booth rentals for trade shows and events.
We specialize in designing, fabricating, installing and dismantling large- scale custom and rental exhibits, branded corporate interiors, and engaging environments worldwide.
We are currently looking for a Graphic Production Technician to join our team! This position is for production of all graphic products and deliverables for trade shows, events and environments. Responsible for the production, finishing and coordinating with artists, fabrication and fulfillment departments to insure workflow and timely production.
Schedule: Full-time M-F
Location: Onsite
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Expertise and knowledge in operating multiple large format printers and finishing equipment. Understand color profiles and rip software.
- An eye for color and quality control is a must.
- Monitor workflow through department and insure graphics are produced per work orders.
- Knowledge of materials, substrates and vendors.
- Send printing updates and completions through internal system.
- Routine equipment upkeep through daily maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with artists to determine best practices for file building on project.
- Printing (installation skills a plus) of vinyl and wall paper products.
- Run laminating and finishing equipment including heat/ cold laminators, CNC router, Roland printer plotter.
- Maintain graphic consistency to 2020 Exhibits standards.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness and presentation of print room environment.
Requirements:
- Must be detail oriented and organized, self-driven and able to perform under tight deadlines in a high energy, deadline driven environment.
- Experience with HP6600 inkjets, Vutek GS2000 flatbed direct to substrate and roll to roll, Roland 54" Soljet Pro Ill XC540 printer/cutter, Seal Heat and cold laminators, MultiCam CNC, & waterjet.
- Able to lift and handle heavy materials.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required as business demands.
