The Surgical Technology Program Manager provides leadership, program development and coordination of educational experiences.Education Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, organizes and delivers required training and continuing education presentations
- Manages all new hires including onboarding, orientation and training through proficiency
- Participates in the hiring/selection process including application selection, and interviews
- Serves as a mentor and subject matter expert for new and experienced staff including the Surgical Technologist Apprenticeship participants
- Acts as a liaison with clinical students and preceptors to ensure a successful educational experience for the student
- Creates opportunities for students and staff to develop professional relationships
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program or completion an Essentia Health Surgical Technologist Apprentice Training Program
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of surgical technologist experience
- 1 year of leadership experience
