What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Production Coordinator position at 2024 Democratic National Convention Committee?
OVERVIEW
The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) is the official arm of the Democratic National Committee responsible for planning the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago from August 19-22, 2024. The Democratic National Convention is the formal event where Democrats from all 50 states and the U.S. territories will gather in Chicago to rally behind the Biden-Harris nomination, celebrate our achievements over this past term, and chart a path for the future. Primetime programming will be held at the United Center and other party activities will be conducted at the McCormick Place Convention Center, both planned in close coordination with the Chicago Host Committee, City of Chicago, State of Illinois, and the Biden for President campaign.
The DNCC aims to build a platform for President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats to tell our story to the American people about a proven track record of historic accomplishments and the stakes of the election. The 2024 convention will pull in more Americans than ever before, bringing back the beloved traditions of past conventions and building on the innovative elements from the virtual convention.
SUMMARY
The Remote Production team is responsible for facilitating all aspects of convention programming that originate from locations outside of the United Center, including sites across the country. The Remote Production Coordinator is responsible for tracking all relevant materials and building detailed decks to ensure a timely flow of information for each of these sites to all relevant stakeholders.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The DNCC will mainly operate out of the Headquarters Office, but will also maintain a number of satellite offices and additional venues. All of these spaces are professional office environments, and will require the operation of office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. This position mainly uses an assigned workstation but may require movement or maintaining a stationary position for short or long periods of time. Employees may be asked to do tasks requiring dexterity or lifting items weighing up to 15 lbs. All employees may request reasonable accommodation to perform their job tasks.

TRAVEL: There is no travel expected of this position.
FLSA ELIGIBILITY: This is a non-exempt position under the FLSA and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week
SALARY & BENEFITS: The anticipated starting salary for this position is $65K. The DNCC offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.

- The Remote Production Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Remote Production and will work closely with the Director of Remote Production.
- Serve as the logistical points of contact for partners across the country, helping to track all information and deliverables from states.
- Build decks to effectively distribute information and concepts to all relevant stakeholders.
- Book travel for advance teams leading production at sites across the country.
- Track assets and deliverables from stakeholders across the country to ensure the process moves in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
- Expert with Google slides and Google sheets and a track record of using these tools to effectively convey information.
- Ability to track a multitude of workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience booking travel for producers or advance teams on the road
- Remains upbeat during long hours in a fast-moving environment.
