What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Compliance Specialist - On-site position at 2024?
Job Summary: Supports initiatives involving product regulatory compliance to environmental & safety regulations including but not limited to UL, ETL, ISO14001, BIFMA Level, C2C, etc.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
- Prepare UL/ETL Project submissions & follow project to completion
- Request and obtain product samples as needed for UL Testing
- Update UL Filings Smartsheet and UL Dashboard with project updates
- Maintain Product Certification related Smartsheets
- Coordinate & Host External Environmental & UL/ETL Assessments/Audits
- Monitor and update data for KPI’s related to ISO14001, BIFMA Level, & C2C
- Manage competitive/customer product Library and Database
- Research & Order product as requested
- Coordinate product testing
- Maintain product Library Space & Log
- Photograph, label & catalog product upon arrival
- Support Intellectual Property Annuity reviews for each quarter.
- Organize MSDS/SDS most updated copies
- Advise facilities/production regarding onsite chemical handling
- Department Budget tracking
- Support cost reduction initiatives to meet corporate objectives
- Support sustainability initiatives to meet company goals
- Track and respond to customer requests for sustainability information
- Assist with Sustainability Certifications (C2C, BIFMA Level etc.)
- Any other duties as required.
- Track contracts & agreements
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience with environmental, safety and/or quality compliance and regulatory requirements (UL, ETL, IEC, BIFMA, ISO9001, ISO14001, etc.) preferred
- Excel or Smartsheets
- Cross functional communication skills
- Ability to read & interpret legal documents and safety standards
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Associates degree in technical or legal preferred
