Building Location: Essentia Virginia Hospital Department: 14240 Cardiac Rehabilitation Job Description: Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs. Education Qualifications: Required Qualifications: East Market: 6 months experience in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation or Successful completion of a cardiac rehabilitation internship of at least 400 hours Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist West Market and Brainerd Lakes: No experience to note Educational Requirements East Market : Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field West Market and Brainerd Lakes: Completion of an exercise physiology program Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Certification/Licensure Required: East Market: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) within 1 year of hire West and Central Markets: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification at the exercise specialist level within 2 years of employment or a current RN license in ND with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 2 years FTE: 1 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option: Shift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time: Days Shift End Time: Days Weekends: Holidays: No Call Obligation: No Union: Union Posting Deadline: Compensation Range: $51,875.20 - $77,812.80 Employee Benefits at Essentia Health*: Health Coverage: Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, plus supplemental health benefit options to ensure employees' well-being.
