Assistant General Manager

Here’s what you’ll do as a Theater Assistant General Manager

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the theater, ensuring smooth functioning of events, from setup to breakdown
• Manage the bar setup, sales and daily tasks while supervising event personnel
• Work closely with the event management team to ensure the event and beverage sales are set up and taken down properly
• Keep track of in-house inventory and order all products & supplies including[JW1] (but not limited to) cleaning supplies, bar necessities, and specialty events
• Ensure event supervision is appropriate
• Troubleshoot problems that may occur while on shift, including missing product, malfunctioning equipment, layout revisions and staffing concerns
• Ensure the theater is clean, safe and properly maintained at all times
• Ability to take direction from and report information to the General Manager
• Support and assist with the on-site experience for vendors and sponsors
• Ensure compliance with all governmental oversight: health, liquor licensing, parking, etc.
• Maintain certification for bar and kitchen supervisor

Here’s what you’ll already have to be a successful Theater Assistant General Manager

• Minimum of four years of customer service experience
• Minimum of three years in a management role supervising more than six employees
• Minimum of two years managing bar sales
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Driven with high levels of self-motivation and expectations with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer operation
• Professional and personable; exceptional guest relation skills
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Commitment to a safe and clean workplace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
