Job Summary :
The IT Operations Manager will lead the IT infrastructure and support operations, the team and systems. This role combines team management with hands-on technical involvement in overseeing IT systems, driving operational improvements, and executing projects to enhance service delivery and efficiency across the organization
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Operations : Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT support technicians, ensuring task prioritization and workload management
- Infrastructure & Support : Manage IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and user support for Tier 2 and 3 issues; resolve escalated technical issues
- System Maintenance & Monitoring : Oversee system upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and proactive monitoring to ensure high availability and performance
- Process Improvement & Compliance : Enforce IT policies, best practices, and service standards; implement process automation to optimize workflows
- Vendor & Budget Management : Interact with external vendors, monitor SLAs to ensure cost efficiency and optimal service
- Incident & Risk Management : Ensure timely resolution of incidents and issues, support business continuity efforts, test and maintain systems' backup and recovery
- Training & Development : Develop and deliver training materials to enhance user understanding of IT systems and promote best practices
