What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Assistant – Ocean County position at 21 Plus?
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising individuals during various outings and activities in the community. Assists the individuals to actively participate in events, provides transportation, provide routine care to group home participants. Assists the management team and supervisory personnel in the implementation of quality programs by working cooperatively under assigned duties and reporting critical information to a supervisor in accordance with established procedures. Upholds agency and licensing regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid NJ driver’s license with an acceptable record of safe driving. Experience with Developmentally Delayed and Disabled individuals a plus but not required.
