Fire Alarm Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and alarm technology, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems. Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarms and security alarms.
• Conduct thorough inspections to detect issues or malfunctions in alarm systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs for alarm system sales.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of their alarm systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role in the electrical field.
• Strong knowledge of alarm systems, including Vista, Silent Knight, and Fire-Lite.
• Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interactions.
• Familiarity with fire alarm sales and alarm system sales is a plus.
• NICET I or II certification is a tremendous plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.37 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
