21st Century Rehab, PC is a therapist-owned organization specializing in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We currently serve 14 communities across Iowa. We provide services to home health agencies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, employers and outpatient clinics. Our commitment is to deliver exceptional patient care. POSITION AVAILABLE:
Physical Therapy Tech
- We are GROWING and are looking for individuals to fill our growing clinics.
SETTING:
- Outpatient setting
- Monday-Friday
- 15-20 hours a week
Key Responsibilities of a PT Tech:
- Assisting with Patient Care: PT Tech’s, under the direction of the PT, may help with ultrasounds, e-stim, Nu-Step and other duties as assigned and appropriate by the PT. Help monitor patients to ensure safety.
- Preparing Treatment Areas and Equipment: PT Tech’s may set up the environment for therapy sessions, ensuring that equipment is in working order and safe for use.
- Patient Interaction: PT Tech’s will make sure patients feel safe & comfortable and ensure that they are ready for their sessions. Tech’s may also help in guiding patients through basic exercises or stretches.
- Administrative Support: PT Tech’s help with greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking insurance and other duties as assigned by PEC.
- Cleaning: Help maintain a clean clinic by cleaning the bathrooms, treatment rooms, gym area and doing laundry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
