This position is Monday-Friday no nights, weekends or holidays. This position would be 8 hours weekly for YA program.
Major Responsibilities:- Observes and assists the department or unit to gain knowledge of roles within the healthcare environment to determine career path options while in high school.
- Maintains and orders stock for department or unit. Cleans equipment and work areas.
- Completes various errands as directed, including pick-up and delivery of trays, specimens, reports, etc.
- Performs general clerical functions as assigned.
- Develops academic and technical skills, and effective communication skills in areas of interest.
- Responsible for interacting with the community, Aurora employees, and patients.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Must be enrolled in high school and working through a state or school sponsored apprenticeship or training program.

- Uses effective personal and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk the majority of the day.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.
