Pay rate: $30.00/hr. on W2 without benefits

Shift Timing: 8:30am 4:30pm (Negotiable)

Job Description:

Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics. Knowledge and experience in Excel, budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, performing multi-year comparisons; performing analytical studies of existing fiscal and related operations.
• Has the ability to identify possible deficits/surpluses based on spending trends and review legislative changes in the appropriations handbook, conduct analyses, and prepare narrativeand/or statistical reports on budget implications.

Computer software to be used :

• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams, Business Objects, Teams, Business Objects.

Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree

Desired skills:

• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.

Role & Responsibilities:

• This position will serve as an analyst on accounts for one (1) or more of the department's divisions, assist in the preparation and development of quarterly and annual cost projections, budgets and multi-year comparisons
• Perform analytical studies of existing fiscal and related operations to ensure quality control and modify or enhance the processes and information integrity.
• This position will help identify possible deficits/surpluses based on spending trends and review legislative changes in the appropriations handbook, conduct analyses, and prepare narrative and/or statistical reports on budget implications.
• This vital role is necessary to keep the Assistant Director of State Funds apprised on all budgetary issues related to accounts assigned. This position will serve as the fiscal subject matter expert on divisions and accounts assigned.
• This position will also assist in the preparation of the annual budget request while serving as an analyst for cost estimates and general fiscal matters related to the Programs/Divisions assigned.
• This vital role is necessary to keep the Assistant Director of State Funds apprised on all budgetary issues related to accounts assigned. This position will serve as the fiscal subject matter expert on divisions and accounts assigned.
