Shift Schedule: M - F-7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Shift 12hrs -7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Shift 12hrs-3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Shift 8.5hrs-11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Shift 8.5hrs.

NOTE:
- 2 years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare is required. If candidate has less than 2 years of experience they will not be considered for the position.
- Current Life Saver Certification is required.
- Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. May take vital signs.
- Answers clients call signals.
- Assists in administration of medications and treatments, takes vital signs, and/or draws blood or collects other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse.
- Bathes, grooms, shave and dresses clients.
- Conducts activities for recreation and socialization.
- Ensures safety and security of clients.
- Feeds clients who are unable to feed themselves.
- Observes and documents patient data, behavior and activity.
- Prepares clients for treatment or examination.
- Provides clients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
- Transports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher.
- Receives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare is required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push and pull and stand for long periods of time.
- Current Life Saver Certification is required.
