Job Description:
- The intern will support the Career Pathways and Talent Acquisition unit by assisting with a variety of tasks, including:
- Supporting the career ladder/mapping project.
- Scheduling meetings and interviews.
- Screening resumes and applications.
- Sourcing potential candidates.
- Creating and formatting documents.
- Conducting research.
- Assisting with other projects or tasks as needed.
- Basic understanding of human resources principles and practices, particularly in talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with career development concepts such as career ladders and mapping.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email/calendar applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling and multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail for reviewing resumes, formatting documents, and conducting accurate research.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and candidates.
- Research skills to gather and synthesize information relevant to assigned projects.
- Problem-solving skills to adapt to new or evolving tasks.
Abilities:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
- Capability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
