Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Psihlogical Services Consultant to join our team. As a Psihlogical Services Consultant, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to patients, residents, consumers, students &/or inmates. You will conduct psychological evaluations/assessments, provide advice on psychological matters, evaluate treatment plans, and coordinate psychological services and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing psychological services to patients, residents, consumers, students &/or inmates
- Conducting psychological evaluations/assessments and providing advice on psychological matters
- Evaluating treatment plans and coordinating psychological services and programs
- May acting as lead worker over lower level psychological services staff
- Conducting individual & group counseling & psychotherapy on various issues
- Following up on treatment & writing progress reports
- Conducting ongoing assessments of inmates to identify, prevent &/or contain significant lethality risks
- Coordinating services between institution mental health services & local community providers
- Completing re-entry accountability plans & conducting home visits
- Providing specialized sex offender therapies
- Participating in treatment team functions & providing technical assistance
- Evaluating defendants / patients for mental status, competence to stand trial &/or sanity
- Writing comprehensive forensic reports & recommendations for courts
- Appearing in court as expert witness on forensic / psychological matters
- Preparing statistical reports & graphs summarizing behavioral progress
Qualifications
- Psiholoigst License
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Covid Vaccination Card
