**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Medicine Physician to provide high-quality medical care to our patients in a correctional setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluating and examining consumers to diagnose and treat their mental health conditions.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing medication as necessary.
- Conducting psychotherapy and counseling sessions with consumers to address underlying issues.
- Monitoring and coordinating the work of medical, nursing, and direct care staff to ensure high-quality psychiatric care.
**Requirements:**
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current Ohio Medical License and DEA certification.
- 5 years of experience in psychiatry, preferably in a correctional setting.
- Healthcare-professional level CPR certification.
