Role Description
22nd Health Care LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to lead our medical team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, managing daily medical issues, and supervising clinical staff in medical settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive physical examinations and general services to patients.
- Recording patient consultations accurately in their medical charts.
- Making referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Ensuring accurate prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Improving patient health and quality of life.
Requirements include:
- Hold a valid Medical Doctor license in Virginia.
- Be board eligible/certified in a relevant medical/surgical specialty.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school with considerable experience in active medical treatment and management.
- Skilled in technical and management aspects of healthcare quality improvement and performance management.
- Competent in evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment planning, including individual quality improvement projects and enterprise-wide quality assurance programs.
- Knowledge of conventional individual and health system performance metrics.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, able to work cooperatively with nursing and allied health professionals.
